Dear Terry, Many thanx for your response, below. Am most grateful for the information as to a source: Pianotek. I shall ring them immediately. Any suppliers with whom I have dealt thus far think that I am unnecessarily, and painfuly, indulging in nitpicking. However, since I am a pianist (retired music prof) who learned to regulate because he was unsatisfied with the so-called professionals in surrounding regions, I am able to vouchsafe that a really well-fashioned key level is a mandatory ingredient of sensitive playing. Pianotek has 0.001, 0.002 - inch and thicker paper balance rail punchings. 0.001-inch is about 0.03 mm. I have not heard of anything thinner than that beng commercially produced. 0.001-inch increments will give you a pretty fine key leveling. Do you find you need more precision than that?
