Hi Patrick,

I live in France, and we have to face the problem of grey market pianos =
like in the US.
Every week some importers receive some containers full of "pianos" that =
are case-polished and sent in some shops that distribute them saying =
they are "as new".

I think Yamaha has the same method for distributing replacement parts =
for their pianos, but I don't know if it is only restricted to yamaha =
models specially made for france.
I think you can buy a yamaha previously sold in Germany and ask for =
parts at yamaha, and there is no problem.

Maybe andre can talk a bit more about it. I know he has good =
relationships with yamaha-europe.

Bye,

Quentin

I'm guessing Europe isn't flooding with container loads of used=3D20

it is becoming here, there may be Common Market/EU regulations =
which=3D20
restrict Yamaha from restraining their sales of repair parts. I'm =
just=3D20=3D

guessing -- anyone know for sure?
