According to one of our members in England the glue maker for Bluethner could not get it right so hence all the ugly screws thru the top as insurance. The one I bellied had no rib support to speak with and the ribs were still coming apart even though they were allegedly glued. Perhaps Bechstein shared the same glue maker? Same screw maker as well ?
