average age?

I too, would have to count myself in the "young" category, at least for my 
chosen profession.
I wonder what is the average age of techs in general? I have the feeling 
that most tuners, at least here in  the USA are 50+ years of age, and 
probably a very good % are well over 60.  Am I wrong?
