Nope, but tomorrow I've got a drive to put a missing bass string on
a church Hamilton, and tune it -- it's all over the place. The replacement
string arrived from Schaff just Tuesday evening. The job isn't scheduled
with the church yet -- will have to phone tomorrow a.m. -- don't have
the phone # yet, either. First time I'll have tuned for this church,
and I don't have the data nailed down yet. My contact for the job
just flew to Michigan for the holidays. I sure hope the two of us
measured that gap right. (What can you say about the [now no
longer hired] turkey who doesn't replace a broken string but
does remove the dead soldier so it can't be measured?) When I was
asked to come look over the piano, I was told that the previous
tuner had said "this string can't be replaced." <big grin>

Or, in other words, everything is PERFECTLY PAR FOR THE COURSE.

Merry Christmas, everyone.
