The center section is huge and big enough for a SAT, heat gun, supplies, etc. I keep my SAT in a soft, insulated lunch box which fits the SAT perfectly. Keeps it safe and out of the heat ( Florida problem). That set up lives in the center area. I keep my center pin lubricants, hardeners, etc, in the long side pockets. I can't say enough about the durability of these cases. Zippers, material, and just everything stands up well to vigorous usage. Plus being a soft case, it's much lighter in weight than most hard shell cases. The best part of it is the shoulder strap which makes carrying extra tools much more physically manageable.
