I use the CD's constantly. Have them all on one smokin hard drive.
Creating customized workplans for various rebuilding steps, tasks, etc.
I do print out articles from the CD's for reading on the plane as well.
Saving them all in customized 3ring binders, sorted by topics:
Stringing,
Agraffes, Bridgework, etc.

These CD's are worth GOLD!
It does require some learning of how to search with Adobe Acrobat. But,
very
worth it.

I have a mastermind group of the best techs in the country available to
help
me
with any aspect of piano work! Who helps me with bridges? Nick
Gravagne
and Bill Spurlock.
How taught me about downbearing? John Hartman and Chris Robinson.
Action geometry? Richard Davenport comes to mind, among others.

CD's, software and the Internet are not the complete answer, but
definitely
worth including in our arsenal of tools.
MANY thanks and ongoing gratitude are due to the folks who have
contributed
so much to PTG Journal over the years.

All of you folks who participate on this list, but don't participate in
PTG...are missing out.
And, we in PTG are missing out by not having you with us! There is
strength
in numbers, and our collective wisdom grows
exponentially when we share info in these ways.

Best regards,

Brad Smith, RPT

List,
I recently bought 20 years of Journal on CD, and feel it's not really as
convenient as paper.
ie. reading in the loo, on a 'plane, chucked in luggage for holiday.
