Nancy, Reinstall the sticker guide rail by standing the action on a surface with the stickers laying on that surface. Start at one end and insert the guide pins into the hole. Once you get a ways along, insert a mute (wire removed) onto the guide pin. Once all pins are installed place a mute on the other end. As you install the action, grip the hammer rail or brackets with your fingers while holding the guide rail with your thumbs. Lower the action behind the keys and rest the sticker fingers on the capstans. Install the rail's screws to secure. With this in place position the action brackets on their respective mounts. For a spinet without this guide rail (flailing stickers): To remove action, remove keys and drape newspaper over the balance rail pins. Do this by inserting the paper from behind the keybed between it and the stickers, drawing the paper up and over the key pins. This way you can simply lift the action and the stickers won't get tangled in the pins. To reinstall the action, place the paper over the pins, Let the stickers hang down and drag them across the paper in reverse conditions of removing the action. It's really fairly simple. And you get the hang of reinstalling the sticker guide rail pins after two or three times. -- Regards, Jon Page
