Dunno...  All the reamers I've seen have blunt ends and multiple, shallow
flutes (more than 2, that is).  Most reamers I've seen are tapered.  This
one is straight, with deep flutes, and it has a tip just like a twist drill
bit.  It seems to be designed for drilling wood, not reaming, and it came
with "Yankee screwdriver," apparently for drilling pilot holes.  (But I
won't swear that it's an original part of the kit.)  Dunno...  Perhaps it's
really another type of reamer.  I just haven't seen one like it before.
