Strange bridge

Hello List and Richard Moody
Only going by memory, but I recall that the bridge pins projected a lot more 
on those sleeved covered bass strings than on the adjacent metals. I vaguely 
recall them being thicker too.
When I restrung one of these Broadwood grands I went the modern way and 
terminated the coverings just short of the bridge. The resultant sound was 
f a n t a s t i c .
