M&H tried several different crossovers on the AA. Here's one that's  in the 
shop now that looks similar to the drawing Ron posted, except that it  has 20 
bass, then 9 pairs on the transition. The speaking lengths run smoothly  from 
the top of the bass bridge through the transition bridge, then start  longer at 
the first plain wire. It works pretty well.
