Baldwin Warranty

Phil,

Sorry to tell you this but Gibson bought Baldwin's assets. NOT their
liabilities!

So, I guess you AND your customer are out of luck! They won't honor it! I lost
almost $2,000 dollars because of Gibson and a mover here lost 3 or 4 times that
because he'd moved and stored a piano for Abbey Simon multiple times! I'll
never
do ANYTHING for ANY Baldwin that involves warranty! It probably wouldn't be
paid
for, anyway! They screwed most of their LONG term dealers (many for 30-50
yrs.), so,
so long, adieu! :-(

Thankfully, I do some work for a dealer who's MUCH more honorable than that
one!
