Hi Joe, The 70 seems fine. I never gave any thought, as to whether heavier would be better. The rod, with the washers, works not too bad either. I think it was a Baldwin idea. Was a picture supposed to be on your original e-mail? I had a red square with an x in the middle, on you original mail, and I don't know, what it meant?? Regards, John M.
