Appear to me a cheesy wood putty repair to extreme cracking along the 
bridge pin line -- a very rough "regraphited" bridge surface -- ultra 
low side bearing.
Jason, what camera are you using? Makes me want to toss out my new 4 
meg Canon A80 (sigh).
