Heres my all time favorite... Lady called to buy some piano polish, and wanted to know where my store was. I informed her that as a piano technician, I just had a home office, but perhaps I could deliver some polish when I came to tune her piano. This naturally lead to my asking her when it was last tuned. She replied; "Oh, it was tuned when we bought it (new) 10 years ago. But I don't need it tuned, my husband has perfect pitch and says it sounds fine. I just want to buy some polish." John Pasterczyk Registered Piano Technician
