"I have had my 'Grand Piano Forte' maintained every six months"

 Read this as my maid dusted the lid weekly, and waxed it semi annually. It
had not been tuned since my Dad tuned it in the 1950's. After I got it
apart, I found a wedge mute that he left on the plate,it was shriveled up
and white. Go no further at this point on this piano, it was destroyed.
