Setting Rates

See, this is an example of exactly what I mean. Doug indicates he is new to
the business, but clearly his attitude suggest that he is not now, nor is
likely to ever be, a "tooner"! PTG offers a plethora of educational
opportunities for the budding and experienced piano technician alike.

I was a member of the National Arborist Association back when I was a
forester. I was a member of the National Ground Water Association back when
I was a hydrogeologist. IMHO, the educational opportunities and open
technical sharing that goes on around the PTG greatly surpasses anything I
ever experienced with these other two professional organizations.

I know there are all sorts of personality and political issues that swirl
around PTG (like any other organization - believe me!), and I have already
been the target of some local, ahem, let's just say "issues", but for me
anyway, all that pales when one considers the benefits of PTG. I'm lovin'
it!

Nuff said!
