This is a multi-part message in MIME format. ---------------------- multipart/alternative attachment If it is just a few, I generally use sandpaper shims - quick, clean, = simple, effective. If there are many, I lug in the tilter. I know for a fact that if I tried to apply CA to an upright upright = piano I would end up gluing the dampers to the strings and all sorts of = nasty things. BTW, did any of you know that if you open up a bottle of CA over a = keyboard and dump half the bottle of CA all over the keys with nice new = plastic keytops, that you can simply wipe off excess CA, sand with 320 = then 600, and then buff them to a new-like shine? Just did that = yesterday - just needed to know - in case it ever happens to me.... = ;-) Terry Farrell ----- Original Message -----=20 From: lgulli2586=20 To: Pianotech=20 Sent: Tuesday, November 16, 2004 10:02 PM Subject: CA in a hurry Hi list How do you go about getting CA glue into an upright pin block, as in = just a few. Outside of lugging in a tilter to someones house. Thanks in advance Richard G. ---------------------- multipart/alternative attachment An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
