steinway over hardened hammer

Because the hammers we are using don't respond to needling in the same way.
NY Steinway hammers, which I use on NY Steinways (a large percentage of my
hammer replacement jobs) need some hardening.  Likewise, Isaac and certain
Ronsen hammers also need the application of hardeners.  When I encounter
Renner, Abel, Yamaha, Kawai or other hammers that call for needle
techniques, that's what I use.  Hopefully, people aren't using hardeners on
these types of hammers.
