This is a multi-part message in MIME format. ---------------------- multipart/alternative attachment I reported on one a while back. Many pins would not hold pitch and many = more were extremely low torque. The pins were doped some years in the = past. I CAed them six months ago. When I tuned it just a couple weeks = ago, all pins were nice and snug except for two which I tapped and then = they were fine. Old upright. Bailey or something like that. Worn out to the max. *sigh* Terry Farrell ----- Original Message -----=20 From: "Don" <pianotuna@accesscomm.ca> To: <DeanMay@PianoRebuilders.com>; "Pianotech" <pianotech@ptg.org> Sent: Wednesday, March 31, 2004 6:33 AM Subject: RE: CA oops > Hi Dean, >=20 > CA works even better on pianos that have already been doped. >=20 >=20 > At 11:10 AM 3/31/2004 -0500, you wrote: >=20 > >Why bother doping when it won't work half the time?
