Dale,  I think the Arledge strings are great.  I  put standard run
replacement strings on an M, and put Arledge's strings on another, and
the difference was great.  I put a set on a 5' Kawai, and it no longer
sounds like a 5', more like a 6'.  But I wish I could restring the rest,
and rescale it, to find out what the piano really has the potential to
sound like.
I also put a set on an old Kimball Grand, and the difference was
tremendous.
The latest is a C-7, about 30 years old.  I think it has a depth that
wasn't there before.
