If you're using an e-mail program capable of setting up rules for =
incoming messages (such as Outlook Express), you could make it store all =
the messages received from a particular mailing list in a folder =
different than your inbox (or in several, one for each list). That way, =
your Inbox would only receive the personal messages. It's much easier to =
see urgent mails this way.

    A small request or suggestion. When sending private e-mails to one =
another I find it helpful if the subject is followed by the words =
Private Post. I personally am on two list with many things I quickly =
delete & unless it is accompanied by those words the private mails are =
sometimes inadvertently  well ... deleted, much to my chagrine & =
frustration.
