Hi George,

Almost anything you do will be a temporary fix other than replacement or
rebushing. You might get "some" mileage out of heating the flanges to try
to "burn off" the residue and accumulated "gunk" from the WD-40 treatment.
Another temporary route is "the hair of the dog that bit you"--treat with
even more WD-40.
