I recently tgried something new cleaning soundboards and it worked great. Swifter pads--yep- the kind your wives uses on the floors. They come both dry and wet. The wet ones as well as the dry work under the strings great withthe use of a soundboard steel. It's not as messy as the buckey of water and does a better job. Give it a shot. Slightly damp rag...rung out...after going through with Spurlock tools, vacuum. That is not going to harm anything. Most crap on soundboards are water soluble. > > David I. > > > > ----- Original message ----------------------------------------> > From: Ted Simmons <tsimmons4@cfl.rr.com> > To: <pianotech@ptg.org> > Received: Tue, 22 Jun 2004 11:27:03 -0400 > Subject: Soundboard Cleaning > > >No one has mentioned Murphy's Oil Soap for soundboard cleaning.
