If it's an upright it could be (as has happened to = me once) a tiny bit of glue on the butt cushion felt. Did you put new = cushions on? The glue hardens and when the jack returns it makes contact = and clicks.This might be the drama. Or it could also be slightly loose hammer heads - I've known that to = also cause a click.
