I thought maybe someone was hired to shop for someone else,
but it does sound like a class project.  The intro reads like a 
problem statement for an assignment...

My favorite part is how Pachelbel's Canon sounded
on each piano....

Still, some interesting insights into the mind of the piano
shopper.  Even a person who tries to inform themselves
doesn't have much hope of really getting it right.
