Hello John,

If you find this ringing sound on the same models of this piano it is
probably a longitudinal partial resonance with a transversal partial. On
plain wire sections this can only be handled by changing the speaking length
or taking a string material with a different youngs modulus or specific
weight.

If you can send me string length and diameter i can check with the MiniMens
String Simulator.
