Well, I guess all that can be said of all this is that what a wonderful =
thing the great variety of people in this world and where their =
different comfort zones are. I guess if it works for you, stick with it. =
If you'd loose sleep over it, look elsewhere.

IMHO, I could not feel comfortable offering any guarantee on such a =
piano (well, maybe five minutes).

  I don't get it. You make it sound like this pianos, which are built =
like tanks, are quite fragile. I mean, they've already survived 100 =
years. You are worried they are going to fall apart in the next five =
minutes? (I understand you are engaging in hyperbole)=20

  I work on lots of these pianos, have spruced and sold scores of them, =
all with warranties. Once you get all the problems fixed, it is nothing =
to take care of the very occasional (and usually very minor) problems =
that come up for warranty repair. I mean, let's face it, how much =
playing time are these pianos actually going to get? Your average =
residential piano is going to get maybe 10 hours of playing time per =
year.=20
