Hi Folks,
Back home after a tour to Nashville. 6 new rocks in the rock garden.
One from each new state I passed through.=20
The term Carding comes from the old term that ment to comb the wool =
fibers to remove the dirt, twigs and other unwanted things before it was =
spun into yarn.

  Clyde,

Carding is when you "shave" the grooves out of the hammers: a =
slight layer removal in order to needle them and make the glassy harsh =
tone more mellow in these old uprights.

Don't know if I will be at the picnic, Maybe

  Julie
