    It was the piano lac stuff from the guy who  used to post on list & it 
was gloss. It lent it self nicely to high polish  but not to satin rub as in 
nitro cell. it was so frustrating my finisher & I  about lost our cool with each 
other. Art Grudko , the maker, would rave about  how it would do this & that & 
in the end would do EXACTLY  the  opposite every time. Un-beleivable. It 
would be,  you're using the wrong gun, or the humidity's to low or your not 
spraying it  right. It still didn't work we used the approved gun & reformulated  
product.
  We may be water lac impaired but after what we went  thru , I don't think 
so.
    Nitro cell still rocks  here!!.
