Species of ivory?

One thing is sure that when looking at the back of a ivory from USA or
Germany, one is a creamy color and the other slightly grey!=0D

Maybe it's the difference between African elephants and Indian elephants!=

The bottom line is that many thousands of elephants were slaughtered just
for their ivory!!=0D
