Phil, APTTA stands for 'Australasian Piano Tuners & Technicians Association'. PTTGQ stands for 'Piano Tuners & Technicians Guild (Qld) inc'. This is a State guild and like every other state in Australia, had been established before the APTTA which was first only unifying all state guilds into one national organization and the national voice to Government and piano wholesalers. The state guilds retained their own independent identity. The APTTA now includes New Zealand, hence Australisian. More info is available at www.aptta.org.au. We hold our conventions on a bi-annual basis, the last was July in Adeliade where we were graced with the presents of Roger Jolly and Ron Nossaman as lecturers. Our next convention is in Geelong, Victoria in 2006 followed by Queensland in 2008. I am currently the President of both the APTTA and PTTGQ. I hope this answers your questions. Was the key leveling screw accessible with the action installed? That's the beauty of Mr Perry's device. By the way, what are APTTA and PTTGQ?
