Usually to remove moisture damage from a finish denatured alcohol is used. The technique is tricky. Form a pad from a cloth and apply the alc. sparingly. Wipe the area in a brisk manner. After a few strokes with the pad on the finish to apply the alc, lift the pad slightly to create more of a breeze than rub The alc. softens the finish and as it evaporates will dispell the trapped moisture. You may end up needing that portion of the lid sprayed over black. Jon Page
