Looks real perty and I like to see Baldwin alive and innovating. But good ol' piano-maker's hype also rears its ugly head: 2-layer felts in the hammers (woooooo, and one layer is blue!), "ebonized wood parts" (O neato), maple hammer rest rail (Wow!) ... Maybe blue sounds better. Spruce IS lighter than basswood. Certainly cheaper, too, I imagine. Guess these are major improvements on the order of Storky & Klunk's exclusive "Harmi-Tone" action.
