Wheelock was on the Aeolian roster of pianos ( along with Steck, Stroud, etc..,) long before the merger with American, in 1930. Aeolian pianos were high quality in those days ( Aeolian provided the player mechanisms for Steinway reproducers )and Wheelock was a president of the company. I have a Wheelock 65/88 Themodist Pianola player piano from 1911. But, since we have a Wheelock on the list, perhaps he'd like to respond?
