Jeannie asked: "Hi Joe,
Just curious, what criteria do you use to decide if a center is tight
enough? Grams? Swings? Thanks,"
jeannie

Jeannie,
Yes!<G> hehe When I am putting on a new set of shanks and flanges I put the
6 gram shanks/flanges in the Bass and sort them so that they decrease as
they ascend. This is done with a gram scale. Once they have the hammers
attached, I like to "spot check" with swings, just to be sure. This usually
happens when I am measuring the DW/UP, etc., after the initial regulation.
Hope that 'splains it.<G>
