Stringing tool

A method that I have used for years to install new steel strings is to go to
a Party store and buy 2 straws that they use for their mylar baloons. These
are 2 feet long and long enough to install any steel string. The two straws
should be of different colors. Tape the 2 straws together with Duck Tape.
Now you have the same useful tool as any that have so far been suggested.
The nice thing is that you can buy two more straws, cut them in half, tape
them together, and use them for the short strings in the upper treble. The
different colors ensure that the string on the hitch pin down below matches
the string on the tuning pin up above.
