Right now I've got a Steinway V which I have completely=20 rebuilt. New strings, new hammers, butts, wippens, damper felts. Hours o= f=20 regulation and it will be good to go. I do two to five pianos a year. I'= ve=20 worked at two different dealers here in town, although right now I'm not=20 affiliated with anyone.=20 I do appreciate the empathy, support, and advice. There are places, there=20 have to be, where there are more tuners than needed. I may be in one of th= ose=20 areas. It's possible. =20 Meanwhile, I've been called to conduct another musical at a local theater,=20 something I used to do full time. I still get one or two calls a year and=20 always turn them down. But this time, I can't say no. That'll keep me bu= $y for=20 about three months. And once we get past rehearsal, tuning will be mad=20 money!
