I have not noticed a slow down, though spring break week (just passed) tends to be a little slower.  Do you use a callback system to remind people when they are due?  That's the time that it really helps as you can call to find out what's going on with those overdue.  As I have a fair amount of rebuilding to do, a small break in the servicing is sometimes welcome, but that's not true for everyone.  To combat slow times it is really important to expand your repetoire to include rebuilding work even if you have to subcontract out some of the work if you are not comfortable with it.  It doesn't hurt to have a spec project or two in the shop either.
