Hello all! I have seen this book for sale: Klaus Fenner - "Berechnung der Spannung umsponnener Saiten / On the Calculation of the Tension of Wound Strings (Piano)", 2nd edition. It appears to be quite old (1976) so I am wondering if it is reliable or if better books have been written, in the meantime, on the topics of calculating bass strings and the crossing point from wound to plain strings.
