I'm looking at the 10th ed. Printed in 1997. No serials listed at all for Homer (page 168) and M & R (page 232) puts the 26,XXX numbers in 1911. (?) Which Pierce Atlas are YOU using? Our original question-poster did specifically say that it was made by Mason & Risch. But, just to be confusing, Pierce says that Strich & Zeidler ALSO made Homer Pianos (page 340). Their serials would make it even earlier, 1904. So we have mysteries all over the place. I wonder if "Homer" was a label piano contracted out to different manufacturers. (?) Alan R.
