I say: Do NOT get any body part twixt the orifice and the target. 
 
Even those direct inject guns the Navy used to give us innoculations
back in the 60's (are they still using 'em?) would cut you like a razor
if you flinched. They use water to cut stone slabs with, these days, and
at a much lower pressure and a wider jet, I think. Amazing.
 
But even this technology has proven totally inadequate when it comes to
cutting through the fog in the Capital Building.
