Hi Mark, I tuned one of these in Toronto about 18 months ago. It was a magnificent instrument. Lots of power and lots of sustain. It had the potential to be even better--but the owner was seeking a "trophy" piano--i.e. one with a "name" like Bosendorfer or Schimmel. He, against my advice, traded it for a 7 foot Schimmel. The Schimmel was a great piano too--but the store "stole" the Kawai for a 20 grand trade in price. The Schimmel was 50 grand. *sigh* I never was a good salesman.
