I use it because it is lighter than a set of weights, and allows an appreciation when I am there for tuning or expertise, but I don't consider it to be good enough to replace the weights in the shop. Possibly with an accurate setup. Nowadays I was surprised that little difference remains between gauge and weights readings. It can be used as a balance too, eventually. Best Regards.
