Here in the Chicago area there is a Falcone dealer who is advertising
brand-new Falcone grand pianos for $3295.  I'm sure the pianos must be
smaller than 6'1", but I agree that you may have over-estimated the
value of this piano.

            The "Falcone" you describe is a Chinese piano with the
Falcone name stuck on.

Imagine Yugo buying the rights to use the Mercedes name and sticking it
on their latest econobox.
