<snip>
at last I got the call in person
<snip>

Elian, and list,
There is a phrase that the telemarketers cannot ignore. It is amazing
how effective it is!

You don't have to be polite.
You don't even have to say "please".

All you have to say is..... "Put this number on your don't-call
list".

Don't say anything else.

I have never had to repeat that that sentence with a given telemarketer,
because they all
know exactly what it means; and, they know the legal consequences, for
them,
if they do call that number again.

I used to get 10 to 20 calls per day. (really).
Now, I get only 1 or 2 calls per week!

Now, if North Carolina would just enact its' own
"don't call" list.

Have a good day.
