Clyde,  contact Jon Page, jonpage@attbi.com, with this problem on 
finishing.  This man specializes in finishing and problems like this 
and was very helpful with me on a finish problem I had on a Starr 
Grand I rebuilt.  Jon is very detailed and patient with people like
