    Hey Guys:
I was called to look at a Janssen console yesterday with the same =
complaint. Just happened by itself while being played last Sunday in a =
church. What was it? Letoff rail came loose and was rattling around =
inside, some notes playing, others not. Maybe ???
We are all waiting with baited breath......

Has anyone been charged with piano slaughter? I'm trying to think of =
how to put the best spin on a bad situation.

Involuntary piano slaughter carries a lesser sentence. Initially you =
will be charged with first degree. Research the archives for 'broken =
plate' and such. There was a thread that contained court cases =
acquitting the tuner and persuasive arguments in your favor within the =
last year or so. Print those out and go to the hearing prepared to =
defend yourself. It certainly is not your fault.=20
