Well, John Hayward had pedal activated stops on harpsichords by 1676, one
of which might have been an una corda...

London 1772, Backers had pedals on a fortepiano, again, one of which might
have been an una corda...
London 1780 Broadwood had pedals..........
-1783 Broadwood patented pedals (original, no?)
London 1787 Walton had uno/due/all corda pedal
Vienna 1789 Stein started using pedals
