I have only serviced one PianoDisc, but have restored many Ampico reproducers from the 20's. So I was surprised to see that PianoDisc has merely a wire with a rubber cap on it to push on the keys' undersides! Would this not jab clean through in short order, and gouge out the keybottom? It seems to me that a wide, adjustable contact( to remove lost-motion) would be a very nice improvement. (Improve playing at soft levels, too! A common complaint of PianoDisc owners, so I've heard.)
